The gravestone is of my great uncle James, his wife and daughters. Uncle James was a civil engineer who lived for many years in Folkestone but also worked in India. My father remembers Kitty and Rose well. He is now in a care home in Folkestone and I am spending time with him investigating our family history to keep him motivated. I have no idea why they were all buried in Barnstaple but would like to find out!
